Happy 8th Birthday KHT

Thursday 15th July 2010 was KHT's 8th birthday.

Since KHT have existed we are proud of the many achievements we have reached.  For example, we have:

• Invested £300million in improving homes

• Improved our response to anti social behaviour and set up our own contact centre as a result of listening to customers

• Increased the overall satisfaction of our customers with KHT as a landlord since with more satisfaction with our services such as repairs, regeneration programmes, how we let our homes and the quality and customer care tenants receive from KHT staff

• Invested over £40million in environments, transforming local grot spots, improving the quality of communal gardens and tackling old garage sites

• We no longer just focus on housing but now help to improve communities and neighbourhoods – delivering new services such as Advantage and Financial Inclusion

• We set up KHT Services in 2005 to undertake business outside of KHT (for example winning business with other housing providers to provide their repair services) to generate income for Knowsley. The income has provided additional investment in Knowsley. Since KHTS was set up it has grown dramatically and provided new job opportunities for local people.

• We’ve also built new homes in Kirkby, Huyton, Halewood and Prescot

However, we still know we have more to do to continue to provide the best possible service for our customers and to make Knowsley an even better place to live in.

We would like to thank many of our residents who have helped us in the last 8 years, we could not have achieved what we have without you.

We hope to work even closer with our customers in the next 8 years.
