Knowsley Active Challenge Sunday 17th May

Knowsley Hall Prescot Knowsley on Merseyside is the place to be on Sunday 17th May 2009 for the Active Knowsley Challenge.

Starting the day Starting at 9.30am is the Free 3K cycle ride followed by the Free 2 mile and 5 mile walks (Medals for all participants) 10am Free orienteering taster sessions then at 10.15am is the Junior Active Challenge which is free to enter and is open to 8-16 years with 3 Age categories (8/9 10/11 and 12/16s).

All participants in the Junior challenge will receive a Goody bag, medal and certificate with the top boy and girl and team in each category receiving a trophy.

The Active Knowsley Adult Challenge which starts at 11am is a running team event with a difference. Entry is £28 per team of 4 You can run (or walk) safe in the knowledge there is no traffic whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings. The closing date for entries is 8th May – so there is plenty of time to sort out your team and entry.
