Wise Up!!!!!
The Fire Kills campaign is a national fire safety publicity
campaign. It was established over 10 years ago, and aims to reduce
the number of deaths in house fires by raising awareness of the
issues.
Did you know…
You are twice as likely to die in a house fire if you don't have a
working smoke alarm. Nationally, 80 per cent of homes now own smoke
alarms. However statistics show that one in three house fires
attended by fire and rescue services, the smoke alarm failed to
work, mainly due to flat or missing batteries. Your local Fire and
Rescue Service offers free Home Fire Risk Checks and may be able to
fit free smoke alarms in your homes.

situations to help reduce fire risks around the home.
