KHT shines in landmark housing study
Bob Taylor, chief executive of Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT), has
been hand-picked by authors at The Affordable Housing Institute
(AHI) to add his weight to their study – Mission
Entrepreneurial Entities: Essential Actors in Affordable
Housing.
A year in the making, the study outlines how key players in the
affordable housing sector, like KHT, use entrepreneurial skills to
innovate new solutions and find more effective ways to use existing
resources.
“It is a huge accolade for KHT to be recognised for our
forward-thinking approach and highlighted in such a positive light
– as a leader in affordable housing delivery,” said Bob
Taylor.
KHT – was one of 23 organisations selected by authors
from across the US and UK.
Bob Taylor added: “The study outlines how using
entrepreneurial skills aren’t just for the money-makers but
are essential for mission-focused organisations like housing
trusts.
“By adapting key skills from the business world we can find
more inventive ways of using our resources to help provide and
maintain affordable housing – and bring about positive social
change.”
