Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT) has taken action against Michelle Roberts of Huyton after she made life hell for neighbours.

KHT secured possession of her house in Woolfall Crescent in Huyton which is to be given up by 1st May 2009 and an interim Anti Social Behaviour Injunction (ASBI) has also been issued.

The ASBI means that Michelle Roberts is forbidden from:

1 Using or threatening violence against any person residing in, visiting or lawfully in the locality of Woolfall Close.
2 Engaging in conduct causing or likely to cause a nuisance or annoyance to persons residing in, visiting, or lawfully in the locality of Woolfall Close.
3 Using, storing or selling illegal drugs from 3 Woolfall Close.
4 Allowing more than 2 people under the age of 18 (excluding her own family members) to be inside or in the grounds of 3 Woolfall Close at any time.

The interim injunction expires on 2nd July 2009, but KHT are set to try and extend this.

Michelle Roberts has been intimidating residents in her neighbourhood and KHT are set to go to in court on 24th April to request that she also be excluded from the whole of Huyton Farm estate. Her son, Alan aged 17, is also currently serving a 6 and half year prison sentence for robbery and possession of a firearm.

Assistant Director of KHT Peter Davidson says this outcome is the result of a lot hard work from the Huyton community:

“This injunction sends out a strong message to our residents that we will not tolerate their safety being put in jeopardy by a small mindless minority. We will utilise every power available to us to make our neighbourhoods safer for decent, law abiding members of the community.”
