New Gas Safe Register
Gas Safe Register is the new hallmark for gas safety in Great
Britain. From 1st April 2009, Gas Safe registration scheme replaces
the CORGI gas registration scheme as the official gas safety
body.
So from the 1st April only Gas Safe registered engineers should
carry out work on gas appliances or installations in your
home.
Knowsley Housing Trust only use Gas Safe registered engineers
for any gas works carried out in your home.
All gas safe registered engineers have an ID card with their
licence number and is easily verified by ringing the Gas Safe
register number found on the card - 0800 408 5550
