KHT Area Board supports Panto Success
A pantomime organised by Trinity Church and supported by KHT
area board funding has been hailed a great success.
Over 200 people attended the production of Cinderella, which took
place on 19th and 20th of January and was directed by Church Army
Captain Adrian Prescott. ( brother of politician John ) It starred
local people from the Page Moss estate, who made the costumes,
acted and generally helped out on the night.
Adrian said, “It’s about celebrating the community
which we are part of, involving local talents and encouraging
families. After the show it was great to show a few of the children
who sadly are only known for the trouble they get into behind the
scenes and how the technical side of it worked.”
Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, who attended the Pantomime on
the Friday evening said, “Seeing the children act so well
made the show what it was, being part of the community! It took me
back to the days I played Grumpy in Snow White and the Seven
Dwarves.”
