St George(ina) pays visit to Prescot

St George’s Day was celebrated in style as Prescot was paid a special visit at the opening of their new kitchen.

Residents at Knowsley Housing Trust’s (KHT) sheltered scheme had the honour of having St George or St Georgina in this case celebrate their new kitchen. In fact local resident Margaret Harrison dressed up in costume and joined KHT’s Edward Kayemba in the opening of their new kitchen after KHT donated £1,000 from their KHT In the Community fund.

Hot Pot was the dish of the day and with a modern day saint at hand the party was just getting started.
