KHT's Tenancy Enforcement Team celebrates team success
KHT's Tenancy Enforcement Unit was last night celebrating
success at the Safer Knowsley Partnership Awards. The team was
named as one of the joint winners of the Team Award for Anti-Social
Behaviour Reduction.
They shared the award with KMBC's Offender Management Unit, with
whom they work very closely. The awards took place at the Suites
Hotel in Kirkby and were hosted by Radio Merseyside's Roger
Phillips. Over the last 12 months, Knowsley has again had
tremendous success in reducing levels of crime and anti-social
behaviour within the area. Last night's award ceremony recognised
the huge contribution that individuals and organisations like KHT
had made to this success. Other winners included community
organisations, teams from the Police and Knowsley Council and
residents who had made a stand against anti-social behaviour where
they live.
Assistant Director of Housing Steve Gow said;
"This is a fantastic achievement by the team and this award is
well deserved. Their commitment, hard work and expertise, allied to
the support they've received from their colleagues throughout KHT,
is having a huge impact on making our neighbourhoods and Knowsley
as a whole a safer place to live in."
