Trust announces exciting new partnership
The organisations already have a successful history of working together. For example, KHT Services currently has contracts with VHA’s Stockbridge office to carry out repairs and maintenance on its homes and also provides consultancy services to help deal with anti-social behaviour problems. Likewise, VHA’s expertise in supported housing is used by KHT to provide
additional advice and support for vulnerable tenants.
Between both organisations, there is a huge amount of expertise that will be used to help
benefit each other. The main aims of building on the partnership are to provide better services
for customers, give them more choice and make services easier for them to access.
A joint working group has been set up to look at other ways in which they can work together and help each other to improve. The group consists of 2 Board Members and the Chief Executive from each organisation.
KHT Chief Executive, Bob Taylor said; “This partnership makes sense for a number of
reasons. KHT and VHA not only share much of the same geographical area, we also share
the same commitment to delivering excellent services for our customers. This partnership will
help both organisations to achieve this, whilst retaining their independence.”
