Are you Energy Fit?
The Community Energy Fit Programme is offering 160 Knowsley residents free energy efficiency workshops and training which could help trim around £450 from an average family’s annual fuel bill.
Those signing up for the scheme will be offered a half day workshop giving top tips in energy efficiency. They will receive an energy fit ‘goody bag’ and can also achieve a national City and Guilds qualification for free.
Trainees are encouraged to put their new-found knowledge to good use by becoming local energy fit ‘champions’ and taking part in volunteering opportunities which could boost their job prospects.
The Community Energy Fit programme is a partnership between Knowsley Council, energy provider Eon and charity, National Energy Action.
