Most benefits are changing in some way and the changes are being announced all the time. It can be very confusing and you might not be completely sure about how you will be affected.
There is a lot to take in but we hope that the information on this video and on our Welfare Reform help pages will give you a good start to understanding the changes which are coming and help you to make plans to prepare.
Some of the changes may mean that you will get less money in benefits and you will need to budget for things such as your rent and other bills to make sure you don’t run into trouble with your finances.
It’s important that you start to prepare for the changes now and to make sure that your rent is paid and you don’t put your home at risk.
