Apply for Duke of Edinburgh award with KHT
KHT now provide Duke of Edinburgh award and we have seven places available for KHT residents aged 16 to 24 years old!
We are the first Housing Association in the North West to run Duke of Edinburgh places and this fantastic offer is available for KHT tenants only.
The Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award is about having a go. You take part in a variety of activities, but they are not exams and you can't fail. Taking part is a great way of making friends and experiencing exciting and challenging things and gaining a great sense of achievement.
You can learn lots of new skills, improve your fitness and take part in expeditions and adventure activities. A DofE Award also looks good on your CV and can be useful when applying for educational courses and jobs.
A recent survey with major employers ranked a Duke of Edinburgh award as the most valued activity young people can undertake outside of education.
You don’t need any special qualifications just plenty of enthusiasm and determination!
