Area boards
In addition to the main KHT Board, we have Area Boards for each area of Knowsley: Halewood, Huyton, Kirkby and Prescot & Whiston.
Like the Main Board, Area Boards also consist of four Knowsley councillors, one independent person and at least four tenants.
Under the main Board’s direction, they have some decision-making powers and are crucial in ensuring that local people decide how money is spent and what work takes priority in their area.
The Area Boards meet every six months.
