What is the Tenants Federation
What is the Tenant
Federation?
The
Tenant's Federation is a borough wide tenants group, meeting
regularly and allowing our customers and KHT officers to discuss
the service we are providing and how we can improve it. It enables
all tenants to participate with ideas to improve this service and
gives members up to date policy information and plans.
It meets
every two months to discuss all aspects of KHT including
regeneration, anti social behaviour, repairs and maintenance, and
estate management issues.
The aim
of the Federation is to work together to ensure lasting
improvements to our homes and neighbourhoods, by empowering tenants
to have a real say in the management of their homes.
Who runs the Federation?
You
Do!!
The
Federation has a Tenant Chair and all meetings have minutes taken.
It meets on a two monthly basis and talks about topics of interest
to the Federation members. We have over 160 people that are
regularly invited to attend the meeting and on average 30-50 people
attend.
All
tenants of KHT are welcome to attend the Federation. In addition we
ask all Resident groups to register with KHT and send a delegate to
the Federation meeting. Registering with the Federation enables
Tenant and Resident Groups to an annual grant of
£175.00
