Chargeable Repairs


As part of your Tenancy Agreement you agree to maintain your home to a reasonable standard. If you do not do this and we are required to do any repairs to your home, you may have to pay for the cost of the repair. We will charge for repairs in the following instances:

  • Any act of vandalism.
  • Damage to interior furnishings, if supplied by us.
  • Any act of negligence, including repeated lock changes.
  • Removal of rubbish left in the home, outhouse or garden area if your tenancy is terminated.

Costs & Charges

The following chart details the costs and charges for different levels of repairs:

Band Cost Description
Band A £40+VAT These are repairs which require minor works to Re-Fix items in the home –these may include replacement of locks and keys, repair to door handle or unblocking a sink.
Band B £100+VAT These are more complex repairs to Re-New items in the home – these may include replacement of an internal door or kitchen cupboard door renewal.
Band C BESPOKE Bespoke cost to be provided following inspection of the works required.  These are multiple repairs that will require an inspection to determine the cost of the works before completion.
