Paying your rent

PAY YOUR RENT

There are a number of ways for you to pay your rent with KHT. Choose from the options below:

Pay online

Self Service Portal

You can pay your rent using our self service portal. If you are using this service for the first time, you will need to register. Once you have registered you will be able to make secure online payments to your rent account.

Online Banking

You can also make payments through your bank’s online banking system. If you already use online banking, you just need to send payments to our account:

Remember to quote your payment reference number: this can be found on your rent payment card.


Pay by phone

To pay by phone, you’ll need the following information:

  • Payment reference
  • Debit or credit card details
  • Amount you want to pay

Automated Service

Our allpay automated phone payment service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note that calls to allpay cost 7p per minute + your phone company’s access charge. Call 0844 557 8321. 

Contact Centre

Lines are open between 8am – 8pm on weekdays and 9.30am – 1pm on Saturdays. Call 0151 290 7000.

Pay in person

Pay-Point

Payments can be made at your nearest PayPoint. There your payment will be credited to your rent account.

You will need:

  • Your rent payment card
  • Method of payment

Post Office

Payments can be made at your nearest Post Office. There your payment will be credited to your rent account.

You will need:

  • Your rent payment card
  • Method of payment


Pay by direct debit or standing order

To set up a weekly or monthly direct debit with your bank, print off and complete the Direct Debit Form. A direct debit can also be set up over the phone through our contact centre. Call on 0151 290 7000.


In credit?

If your account is in credit and you want to claim a refund you will need to complete and return:

  • A rent refund form
  • A cheque authorisation form

You can request these forms through our contact centre.
