We’re proud to be supporting #WorldMentalHealthDay which takes place on the 10th October every year with the aim of raising awareness of mental health issues faced by people from all around the world.
Each year, a different theme is identified to help raise further awareness around a specific topic and the focus for 2019 is suicide prevention. Every 40 seconds someone loses their life to suicide and it is the second leading cause of death among 15-29 year olds.
We’ve partnered with Wellbeing Enterprises to offer our residents free personalised, one-to-one wellbeing support, giving you the tools to tackle the challenges life throws at you. Whether you’re feeling unhappy at home, are struggling with debts, low mood or bereavement, Wellbeing Enterprises could help support you.
Dedicated Community Wellbeing officers work alongside our neighbourhood team to support you and help address your worries. Officers and residents co-design personalised wellbeing plans that connect you to wider community support in Knowsley, helping you to access a range of services.
There are opportunities available to attend free courses such as stress management, emotional awareness, sleep relaxation, confidence building and problem solving.
Remember you’re not alone. Reach out and take your first positive step and get in touch with us for advice and support.
